About

Joy of Competing

Master the Mental Game

Joy of Competing was founded to help athletes develop the ability to handle and bounce back from the pressure, the failures, and the mental struggles inherent in competitive sports. This type of resilience empowers them to not just reach the most competitive levels, but to get those wins, that recognition, that scholarship, those awards, and those championships too.

By delivering this training in an interactive live course format, using science-based methods researched by performance psychologists, coaches, and mental training experts, athletes can learn the foundational pieces they need to achieve their competitive goals, and perform at their highest level.

When the tactics they learn are implemented at practice and in daily life, these actions become behaviors, then habits, and eventually their natural state of being.

They feel improvement sometimes right away and then incrementally from then on.

They can learn to apply these techniques in games and in life.

Mission

Our mission is to help athletes gain the confidence and mental tools necessary to be the best versions of themselves. They will find success and joy in their sport, overcome the stress, challenges, and self-doubt that is inherent in sport, and become unshakeable in competition.
